eCig Review For Beginners

For Whatever Reason
For whatever reason; save money, enjoy a 'flexible' option, tired of the smell and bother of
analog cigarettes, smokeless electronic cigarettes are worth a try.
They've been reviewed by many members of the medical community and
mixed reviews from media and other sources.

Overall, I thought it was worth a try. After a lot of investigating,
reading, and comparison of information, prices, and products
I jumped on in and haven't lookded back since.

What You Need to Know
Things have changed more recently, and there are a lot of sites that explain
how eCigs work. There are 4 pieces that may be separated into 2 or 3 parts.
Either way there is
Mouthpiece which can be considered 'one' with the
Cartridge with wool soaked with nicotine eliquid that 'drips' down onto the
Atomizer that makes the 'vapor' . (The 'vapor' is odorless, you can only 'taste' it, so try some of the 'flavors') that screws onto the Battery or the 'cigarette'.

Which One is For You?
Now your ready for the diagrams of the eCig. These parts come in all sorts of shapes and colors.
Three factors will influence your decision:

Appearance
How 'realistic' do you want it to look? Are you 'having fun' or 'blending in'? Do you need it to be 'easily' spotted that it is Not a Cigarette due to a non smoking ban?
This also includes 'size'
eCig or eCigarette (as opposed to eCigars)
Mini eCigs are slightly larger and longer than regular cigarettes
Super Mini eCigs are the size of smaller and shorter than analogs

and 'model'

Beware, Prices Vary!
And vary greatly, they do.
From upwards of $150 to $20 or $30.
Right now, a lot of prices are dropping
to allow more people to give it a try.

You may want to try more than one.

Availability
Shipping is one caution
I will recommend some that I can personally vouch for good service
and some obtained with consistently good reviews from reasonable
sources.

To Get Started Get a KIT
This is crucial, whatever size, model or style you choose
Start With A Kit!
A kit will have all of the thins you need to get started:
Battery
Atomizer
Mouthpiece
Cartridges
Battery Charger

The cartridges will already be filled with nicotine, eLiquid. Be sure to read the amount in mg of the company's nicotine strengths:
HI-18mg, MED-11mg, LOW- 6mg, NO-0mg

Starter Kits typically have an extra battery or atomizer included, as well as, extra cartridges.
Many companies offer assortments of flavors or tobacco flavored 'carts' - cartridges in their starter kits.

Additonal Items to Order:
Cartridges- Order 1 additional box; try a 'flavor' you are sure you will like. Try Menthol instead of marlboro.
A box of 5 will likely range between
$5 - $8. Do Not Throw out your used carts...keep reading

As soon as you have tried a couple flavors,
Order a bottle of oil. Try the smaller bottle, usually around 8-10mL

...you'll Refill your cartridges with oil
Reuse them for awhile and then
order a new box of cartridges every few months.
